FAQs
It is a body-based and energetic way of meeting the parts of yourself that were once pushed out of awareness — old anger, grief, longing, shame — because there wasn't room for them at the time. We do look at history, but rather than analyzing or trying to understand these parts, we follow sensation and energy directly: what is tight, what is heavy, what is numb, what is stuck, what is moving. Alongside this is an intuitive way of working — a capacity to sense what is not immediately visible, to notice what is being held beneath awareness, and to support it in coming into view safely and at the right pace. The work unfolds through staying present with what's here, in real time, rather than trying to figure it out. With this combination of presence, energy, and intuitive tracking, what has been hidden can begin to surface and shift. Patterns that were once stuck start to loosen, and what's underneath them becomes more available — not as an idea, but as a lived experience.
No. Many people arrive with a clear edge in mind; just as many arrive not sure why they're there, only that something needs attention. Both are fine starting points. You don't need to relive or explain anything for the work to unfold.
We start by checking in on where you're at. From there, the session follows what's present — through breath, sensation, dialogue, stillness, and intuitive attention to what's beneath the surface. Shifts might be immediate or gradual, and they show up differently for everyone: in the breath, in a thought that finally settles, in an emotion that releases, in a lightness or freedom you've been waiting for, or in a change — vague or specific — in how you feel and move.
No. This work can be supportive and, for many people, meaningful — but it isn't a replacement for medical treatment or licensed mental health care when that's what's needed. It's meant to complement other forms of care, not stand in for them.
Both. One-on-one sessions are available online via video call or phone, and in person during select collaborative retreats held throughout the year in different locations worldwide. Written sessions are also available. For current dates and upcoming events, please see the Events page.
If something in you is already curious, that's usually enough to start. A single session is a low-stakes way to find out, or you can book a complimentary 15-minute call first if you'd rather talk it through before committing.
